Noodlings on why I have created this blog

<![CDATA[I found I needed a blog where I can just write without thinking too much about it. A stream-of-consciousness blog if you will.

I don't know what this blog wants to become. It can be a refuge for when I’m not feeling well and want to create anyway.

I just know that I need to write and I know that some things I need to write are not for my main blog. They are about more than just my life as a creative, about writing, about creative joy.

I don't want to sink away in writing things that make me sad. Things I can't change and that I don't have any control over.

I want this blog to be about growth, about finding my truths in words, and spell them out for myself so I can't deny them any longer.

I want this blog to be all about joy (more on joy in a later post, because I have a lot to say about it), about my life as a creative and as someone who is working on healing herself.

So why this blog if I use my main blog to write about creativity too?

My main blog is about the insights. This one is about the discovery, the path taken within my creative life. The posts here could lead to a blog post on my main blog. They could stand for themselves too. It’s how creativity works.

As I'm starting this blog from a sense of being lost, from not feeling inspired to write on my main blog, I hope it's a good start.

No. I know it's a good start. I've written more for this blog already than I've done on my main blog in the past week.

Progress. Not perfection. Time to remind myself of that.

And to inject some joy in this post, an inktober doodle :)

]]>

I just know that I need to write and I know that some things I need to write are not for my main blog. They are about more than just my life as a creative, about writing, about creative joy.
